At a recent training that I attended, a city reported that they had done just a few things like power wash their sidewalks and add new striping for parking spots. Many people commented on how nice it looked.

I would like for us to consider what beautification we could do in our city. At the home and garden show at the Cadence Bank center, a company out of Waco presented man-made signs that looked like stone. We might consider replacing our old faded signs at the entrance to the city. Our logo could be put on the stone look sign.

Our CFO-ACM Cary Erskine also saw these signs and thought they looked very nice.

So we may get this on the agenda in the near future to discuss.
